Leah La as she was known to us has to go down as the best mouse catcher around. When she was a young 10 months of age, we where out gardening. I saw a mouse in the compost bin and yelled for your old Tom cat. Well Leah just jumped right in and in about 20 seconds flat she had 9 dead mice at my feet! A true "ratting" breed she just bit, killed, bit, killed, no eating them or playing with them the way a cat does. It was amazing! She stayed by the compost as I worked in the garden and about an hour later she killed the 10th one. Guess she knew it was there because she didn't give up. At 5 years old, Leah was spayed and went to her retirement home. Here she was known as Mrs. Beasley. Her new owners have a wonderful, park like back yard where Mrs.Beasley's job is to keep the rabbits, and mice away. And she does a great job.
